Your Sunday Serenity

Happy Sunday all…I’ve been sidelined for the last few weeks with packing up and moving from my home of a couple of decades–a task that needs a whole lotta Sunday Serenity…Cochabamba, Bolivia is about to “go to press” but for now, a little Thoreau:

A lake is the landscapes most beautiful and expressive feature; it is Earth’s Eye…looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature.

My friend Christopher Barnes was commissioned by the Maine Lakes Conservancy Institute to capture the beauty of Maine’s freshwater lakes.  His work is stunning.

The book, Maine Lakes, can be purchased from the Maine Lakes Conservancy Institute and 100% of the proceeds goes to support their children’s water education programs.  Check them out at:  www.mlci.org

They’re a great organization [OK, I founded it so of course I think its great] and they really do good work.
